La Magnetita
La Magnetita is the largest untested magnetic anomaly in the Guerrero Gold Belt (GGB) The GGB has an inventory of over 19 million ounces of gold and growing with new discoveries being made yearly. All of the major discoveries in the GGB have been associated with magnetic anomalies. Cayden has spent the last 20 months building roads to access this large target including an extensive groundwork program which has included grab samples, trenching, airborne geophysics and collecting over 5000 soil samples. The target area which contains assays of over 100 ppb Au is now 5.4 square kilometers in size and is still open is most directions including a 2 square kilometer section where the gold values run over 500 ppb.
Through the analysis of all of the groundwork, Cayden has defined the most significant targets. The soil anomaly strongly suggests that La Magnetita is part of a very large hydrothermal system. Cayden is currently performing a drill program in the eastern portion of the La Magnetita anomaly where the most extensive surface work has been completed. The Company is creating a detailed geologic map from outcrop and trench exposures that it will use to refine drill targets. Cayden is currently drilling a minimum of 4000 meters by core as a first phase program.
